Unable to Create a PO in Moab – "Create" Button Does Nothing

If clicking the Create button when trying to create a Purchase Order (PO) in Moab does nothing, the most likely cause is that the user has Read-Only access. Users with Read-Only permissions can view records but cannot create or modify them.

How to Fix It

An administrator will need to update the user's business role to one that includes purchasing permissions (e.g., Ops Manager or an equivalent role). To do this:

  1. Go to Settings > Business > Users.

  2. Find and select the affected user.

  3. Update their Business Role from Read Only to Ops Manager or an appropriate role that includes PO creation permissions.

  4. Save the changes.

Once the role has been updated, the user should be able to create POs without any issues.

Only administrators have access to manage user roles in Moab. If you do not have admin access, please contact your system administrator to make this change.
